Talissa Lopes is a multidisciplinary Brazilian filmmaker based in Barcelona, driven to explore the art of cinema in all its forms. With a combination of skills in direction, scriptwriting and art direction, she dives from the screenplay to the set. 

For over a decade, she has worked in the art department of international film and advertisement as art director, set decorator and assistant. This journey has shaped her way of telling stories, where space carries the same emotional weight as the characters themselves.

Her latest short film, “EL SECRETO DE SORAYA”, has winning awards for best LGBTQIAPN+ short and was selected in numerous film festivals.

In 2025, she was one of the six screenwriters selected for the international Screenewriting Residency at the EICTV cine school in Cuba, where she developed the story for her first feature film.

Alongside her authoral projects, she continues to work in the art department and is currently part of the Set Decoration team on an American upcoming tv series.
